Make a Move

I spent my early morning sunrise time, driving Hubs to his destination. It didn’t keep me from snapping a photo of the gorgeous “welcome mat” rolled out for my pleasure. Oh, and I did pull over (this time).

As I drove off I caught a glimpse of someone running around the track. The runner had a brace on each knee. My thoughts wandered a minute, on how most of the time I let my physical and mental pain keep me from moving. I thought of how that person had to keep running, as it is a job requirement to keep physically fit. Even when he hurts he has to keep moving. I became even more grateful at that moment for the men and women who everyday, fight physical and mental pain to guard our country, or patrol our streets.

I kept the radio off and spent time talking to God. I placed my requests for friends and loved ones on HIS altar. I arrived home to my neighbor calling for me from over our fence. He poured his heart out to me about his pain for a loved one who had a car accident. A girl who has already been crippled for years with mental pain, she has been unable to move. Getting clean has been an ongoing life struggle for her, and now she will have a struggle healing from this wreck.

I entered the house and rekindled the fire already burning within my soul. An overwhelming fire for the well being of others. That fire can move mountains.

Make a move today, don’t let your mental or physical state keep you crippled. Allow the spirit of God to stir within you, move your mouth and heart in prayer, in praise, in thanksgiving!  HE is waiting to connect with you. Join Him and watch him move mountains!
