Cracked and Dry Like Dirt!

After a day of outdoor chores along with coming in and out of air conditioning there’s nothing better than a BIG’O glass of ice water and a long cool shower for, your parched body! I love that squeaky clean, fresh and revitalized feeling one has after that cool shower at night, and then the crisp cool feeling of clean bed sheets!

The same thing happens when you’re spiritually parched, and you sit down to read your bible! All those hurts, doubts, fears, worries, and insecurities you’re carrying are like cracks in dry hard dirt. When you pour Gods word out it seeps into all those cracks leaving behind a lush soil and green foliage!
If you’re feeling thirsty, needing hydration and want to get rid of all that your carrying…. I hope you’ll grab that glass of water and your bible, find a shade tree or some AC and let the Lord bring you living water and restore your faith!

Join me in reading and hydrating!
Jeremiah 17:13 Lord, you are the hope of Israel; all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the Lord, the spring of living water.
John 4:10 & 11 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” 11 “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water?
John 7:38 whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
Revelation 7:17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”
Jeremiah 17:8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Father, lead us to your springs we are weary, dry and long to be filled…and when we drink may we offer your living water to others. Fill our cup Lord, we lift it up Lord come and quench this thirsting in our soul. In Jesus name Amen.
