Spread it!

It’s still dark and the crickets are still singing their nightly tune. My mind didn’t rest all night and Hubs was up and gone seemingly before his head hit the pillow. His day will be full as he teaches new recruits how to shoot. Mine will be full trying to concentrate.
I think back to the beginning of time as I know it. I romanticize about days on the prairie, where all day long husband and wife worked side by side. I then stop and am thankful for indoor plumbing.

I’m also thankful that our day can be lead separately, and that we can reunite at the end of the day.
I do not let my mind entertain nor linger on the dangers of my husbands work. I do not romanticize about police or military life. I also for a time worked in his world and there is nothing romantic about it. I have a heart full of gratitude that we each can do what we do everyday. There is plenty of room to complain ,but my prayer is that we leave the world a little better than we found it.

Today as you work and live out your day apart from your mate, or side by side… be grateful. Walk through your day spread that gratitude. You just might start an epidemic.
