You Can Run, But You Can Not Hide

Starting my garden weeding early in the cool morning, is good for this ol’gal. When I get overheated, I get a headache that will last all day. Finishing up the other morning, I decided to sit under the umbrella drinking some H2O. I caught a rather peculiar tweet incident. Two tweets sat on the fence, hopping back and forth as if they were fencing/having a  sword fight. It was entertaining, and comical. One tweet finally gave up and tried to hide in various places in the yard, but the other always found it.

I applied this to the fact that we as sinners can live our day out as if we have no sin. Those around us, can be entertained by us and even laugh at our silly actions. We can put up a good front covering our hurt, and our wrong doing’s, but we cannot hide. Eventually, we are all exposed, our true character being seen by all.

Join me…..start the day by coming out of hiding, tackling one weed at a time, and giving the Master control of the weed eater!

“Father, we admit that at times we maintain a religious front, please give us courage and strength to do what it takes to lead a life of true character, tackling the hurts, habits and hang-ups that choke out the beauty within us. In Jesus name Amen.”
