Change it Up!

As I look out the window and reflect this morning, I can see raindrops on the outside pane. To me the smell of rain is so refreshing, and the sound of it hitting the roof is hypnotizing. Rain brings about change. When the spring rains come, new life begins again. In the fall when the rain comes, it washes away what’s left of a hot dry dead summer.

My mind can change at least 6 times in a department store, and leave me with a headache. I will pick something up and then debate over it, place it back on the rack, pick it up again and eventually I put it back on the rack again, leaving wishing all the way home I had bought it. I can usually make myself miserable shopping, even grocery shopping.

Being undecided and changing my mind so many times is exhausting. Not just in shopping, but in my daily life.

As the day is breaking outside my window it is becoming clear to me that transformation is happening. Inside the house it is becoming clear to me that I myself am in need of change. I snicker as I  type this, because my current going list of things to change is long. But I know that I can only work on one thing at a time, or I will become exhausted and defeated.

Join me this month and we’ll learn how to “change it up”!
