Stop! Do it Now

Wrestling covers before the alarm clock goes off isn’t my idea of a peaceful rising. I hate messed up blankets and tangled sheets. I spend the whole night trying to get warm. Well not the whole night, the occasional hot flash makes me kick em all off. In the morning the attempt to make the tangled mess up, usually leaves my bed undone.

Something else I hate wrestling, is the feeling I get when I hear or read the words “praying”.
I wrestle the wondering, and get tangled up in the mixed emotions of positive and negative. I know that people mean well. But do they really pray?

Does the busy day get away from us quickly? Are we wrestling with the right time to talk to God? Do we get tangled in our words, not sure of how to talk to HIM? When a prayer request is needed, or we read of someone going through a tough time, is the word “praying” just a first reaction? Do we follow through with the action?

Join me today and Stop! Do it Now! Don’t let your good intentions get tangled up and later left undone.
