Beauty in Life’s Ebb and Flow

Looking over my desk, through the window my eyes fixedly into the backyard. I see tan grass, with hints of green peeking underneath. I see a wooden privacy fence with variations of brown, black, tan and grey supporting a leaning gate in need of repair. I see empty containers, longing for vibrant blooms. It is clearly the season for things to rest, lie dormant and lethargic before it leaves. The Springtime will come back in and bring with it new life. These season’s come in and go out, like the waves of the ocean. People and circumstances keep the same rhythm of coming into our lives and then leaving. I’m learning that there is beauty in that ebb and flow.
There is beauty in introducing new friendships and relationships. And it can be a beautiful thing when the wrong type of person comes into your life and “quickly” leaves! It is a beautiful thing to experience tough times. It’s even more beautiful when that tough circumstance, runs it’s course then high tails it! But be careful Dear One, don’t miss out on the beautiful lessons to be learned during those introduction times. They can be missed when we focus on the unpleasant, and forget that the tide will eventually carry it back out.

Are you seeing the beauty in your life’s ebb and flow or are you just waiting on the tide?

Join me today…as we look for and learn from the beauty in the ebb and flow of life, it’s people and it’s circumstances.

Join me as we pray….”Master Designer, we give you praise for the rhythm of which you created everything, give us eyes to see the beauty in those difficult times, and knowledge as we boldly grasp each lesson, in Jesus name Amen.”
